Healing Light: Holon of Balance

When I first learned how to open the Akashic Records, Linda Howe taught me to use a “pillar of light” to help ground myself during my practice. I still find it to be a useful tool, this healing light. I can actually feel a calming effect when I do so, along with it being easier to communicate and receive.

For a long time now, I’ve experimented with other light shapes or structures and am especially fond of “The Holon of Balance”, which I learned about from Tom Kenyon and his wonderful work. I won’t go into detail about how Tom learned to use this tool and what all it can be helpful for, but instead will happily refer you to his website.

A Meditation Tool

In my work with the Earth’s Record, I often work with the Holon on the planet’s behalf, for healing purposes. But I have to first start with myself. The idea is to imagine an octahedron around yourself (see below), and to experiment with placing yourself, through your mind’s eye, in various positions inside the octahedron. You might notice different things depending on where you find yourself. You might also try infusing the structure with different colors or hues of light, or even spinning it at various speeds. in various directions.

One of my favorite meditations is to close my eyes and imagine this Holon of Balance forming around my body where I sit, even moving my arms as I outline the structure until I’m fully encased within. I play with that a while and will then start to extend the size of it further outward to encompass the room I’m in, the home, my neighborhood, my city, my state, my country, and finally, the world. In this imaginal place, I “see” the entire earth hovering within the Holon, and I stay with that picture for as long as I feel drawn to do so.

Heal Yourself, Heal Others

This is a simple healing light tool to give to ourselves and the planet, offered up much as a prayer might be. Try it for yourself and let me know what, if anything, you discover!

Love your Mother…
